(TriceEdneyWire.com) - Heather Heyer, a 32-year-old woman, who was murdered while protesting a Nazi and a Klu Klux Klan rally in Charlottesville, Va., said as a white woman she enjoyed liberties not accorded to black men.

“You’re a college graduate, but if you walk into the store you may have people following you, and it’s not fair,” Alfred Wilson one of Heyer’s co-workers quoted her as saying.

James Alex Fields, Jr., an Alt Right supporter and a fan of Adolf Hitler, from Maumee, Ohio, killed Heyer on Saturday when he drove his car at a high- rate of speed into crowd of counter protesters.

The collision set off a chain-reaction accident when Fields’ car plowed into the rear of a parked car that crashed into another parked car. The crash killed Heyer and injured 19 others.  , some of them seriously.

Fields backed up his car and speed away before police arrested him. The district attorney charged Fields with second-degree murder. He appeared in court Monday morning.

Heyer worked as a paralegal for Miller Law Group, which is based in Charlottesville.

Her friends hailed her as a hero, setting up a Go Fund Me page for Heyer’s family. The page raised $109,000 in less than 24 hours.
