(TEWire) UPTOWN Magazine, the luxury lifestyle publication for affluent African-Americans, announced that attorney, television personality, former prosecutor, political insider, philanthropist and bestselling author Star Jones has joined as Editor-at-Large, effective immediately. Founded in 2004, Uptown Magazine delivers fashion, lifestyle, political and entertainment content specifically created for this previously hard to reach demographic.

Jones' first UPTOWN editorial contribution to the publication will be in the first ever Weddings and Travel special issue available on newsstands January 20. She will make her on-line debut in late December.
